NATURAL GAS AND PROPANE FURNACE SERVICE TIPS
AIR NOT BLOWING HOT
Check the filter for excessive dirt , debris and residue that may be clogging the air flow. THIS WILL TRIP HIGH LIMIT ON FURNACE
FURNACE LEAKING WATER
Check to make sure drains are properly pitched. see if flush tee is available to clear drain. look for source of water
FURNACE SMELLS HOT
Not to sound redundant but check air filter. a blocked air filter can cause the furnace to over heat and smell.
NO POWER
Begin by checking the furnace power source at the breaker. A tripped circuit breaker switch is possible and might be your answer. also some townships require a switch at top of steps so check for power switch at top of basement stairs
NOT BLOWING SUFFICIENTLY
We advise to check air filter immediately and look for blockage. Also see if blower motor is running by listening to air handling unit could be a bad blower motor.
